Thanks for taking the time to see a little more about me.

I live in Michigan with my husband and . That's Max our Great Dane, he is who you see floating around on some of these pages. He is the king of the castle here, that is why he is wearing the crown. He barks the orders and we dutifully serve him!

I became interested in lampwork beads from my adventures in bead buying while making my stained glass windchimes. I was buying a lot of different beads and came across all the beautiful lampwork beads. I continually found myself admiring them more and more and was very anxious to learn how to make them.

I signed up for my first class in July of 2003 and despite the Ugly first beads I made, I was not discouraged! My heart was definitely in it and I knew I would soon get it!

I wasted no time and got myself set up in my own little room to use for my studio. Now that is where I spend most of my time, and when I am not in there you can probably find me planted in front of the computer.

I have done stained glass in the past mainly sun-catchers, small panels and the glass windchimes. I may occasionally create another of these pieces but my main focus in glass is currently the lampworking. I really get a lot of satisfaction out of it and love creating these little miniature beauties!

Besides the glasswork, I work 3 days a week as a hair stylist in a hair salon. I have been doing hair for over 20 years now! Link to salon site I created - Salon
